KATTI(Korea Association of Tech Textile Industry) is technical and composite material association representing Korea which was established in January 2008 and approved as an incorporated association by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of the Korean Government. Korea has a good foundation for technical textile due to the influence of the shoes industry which was the main industry of this area and textile industry with deep-rooted tradition, and have solid markets for aerospace, marine, and renewable and densely located in this area at present. The Association executes diverse support projects to strengthen the competitiveness of Korean technical textile industry and open the Busan International Technical Textile & Material Exhibition(BITE) every year as one of the projects.

BITA(Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Industrial Textile Association) is a technical textile and composite material association representing Korea which has been supporting many companies in the field. We, the BITA, are going on various support projects for industrial competitiveness in tech-textile industry in Korea, and we open BITE(the Busan International Tech textile & material Exhibition) every year as one of the projects. In addition, we got a permission of rename as KATTI(Korea Association of Tech Textile Industry) from MOTIE in July 2015. With the new name, We will provide more various supporting programs in wider fields. We will make efforts to present textile industrial vision and increase the value of tech-textile fields with high performance through various promotions.
