The Nano-Engineered Advanced Materials (NEAM) Group of Ningbo Institute of Materials and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has more than 20 members, and is focused on the research and development of nanocomposites and fiber reinforced polymer matrix composites, including process development, structure stimulation, design optimization, lightweighting, etc. The team members have made many original achievements, were authorized more than China and international 40 patents, and have undertaken more than 20 major basic research and product development projects, with a total funding of more than 150 million yuan. A number of scientific research achievements have been realized the industrialization of terminal products.
