The FP-985 fuselage represents a critical structural component for heavy-lift unmanned transport aircraft. Aistear Aerospace has successfully overcome multiple key technical challenges, including ultra-large structure precision positioning and high-efficiency manufacturing technologies, demonstrating its core capabilities in the lightweight structural manufacturing of large UAVs.
During the ceremony, Aistear Aerospace and Times Flyprop signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties will leverage their respective core strengths in aircraft overall design and advanced structural manufacturing to jointly advance innovation and industrial application of cutting-edge aviation technologies. The collaboration will explore extensive cooperation in new materials, processes, and products for the low-altitude economy equipment sector.
The FP-985 "Taurus" large fixed-wing unmanned transport system, independently developed by Times Flyprop Technology Co., Ltd., features a fully airworthiness-standard compliant, completely forward-designed configuration. It possesses all-weather operational capability and reliable performance across various conditions. Designed to operate in complex terrains including mountainous regions, islands, and plateaus, as well as extreme environments characterized by severe cold, high temperatures, high humidity, and precipitation, the system meets requirements for heavy payloads, low operational costs, and high efficiency. With broad application prospects in regional logistics and emergency response, the FP-985 is positioned to significantly enhance transportation efficiency in challenging mountainous and cross-sea environments, contributing substantially to China's development of intelligent, efficient, and accessible unmanned aviation logistics and emergency rescue systems.
