Changsheng Technology Stablize Mass Production of T1100 Carbon Fiber in Fully Domestic Kilon-tonne Line

On October 24, Changsheng (Langfang) Technology Co., Ltd. announced a significant breakthrough: after a year of dedicated efforts to stabilize the quality of high-performance carbon fiber through R&D advancements, process refinement, equipment upgrades, and full-process PCD quality control, the company has successfully achieved stable mass production of T1100-grade carbon fiber on its fully domestic thousand-ton production line as of September 2025. This milestone marks a seamless transition from laboratory innovation to industrial-scale manufacturing.

 

 

Over the past year, benchmarking itself against global industry leader Toray Group, Changsheng Technology collaborated with Shenzhen University, AVIC, and other research and composite application partners. In conjunction with COMAC’s "Domestic T1100-Grade Carbon Fiber Screening and Evaluation" initiative, the company focused on enhancing both fiber and composite performance to accelerate market adoption. Through 19 optimized production batches across three phases on its fully localized thousand-ton line, Changsheng introduced multiple innovative processes to improve interfacial properties. To date, the tensile strength of its carbon fiber has achieved stepwise progress, stabilizing successively at 6600 MPa, 6800 MPa, and 7000 MPa, with batch yield rates consistently exceeding 95%.

As the performance of T1100-grade carbon fiber improved and stabilized, Changsheng rapidly advanced compatibility testing with resin systems for aerospace applications. These efforts led to a notable rise in composite performance: the 0°tensile strength increased from 3300 MPa to 3705 MPa, while key parameters such as CAI reached their target values.

In the domain of national strategic emerging industries, Changsheng’s ZA55GC material has passed COMAC’s PCD management system certification and been officially adopted for the C919 program, enabling volume supply. The company has completed three rounds of on-site sampling and aviation application evaluations for COMAC. In parallel, it has established bulk supply chains for high-end sports and leisure products, while validation activities are actively underway in other advanced technology sectors.

Looking forward to the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan period, Changsheng Technology is formulating its next five-year strategy. The company will deepen collaboration with research institutions like Shenzhen University and downstream partners in high-performance fiber applications. By integrating a "Material Gene Engineering + AI + Process + Equipment" approach, Changsheng will focus on stabilizing T1100-grade carbon fiber and composites while accelerating R&D on fourth-generation ultra-high-performance carbon fiber (T1200-grade) and next-generation ultra-tough composite technologies. Its ambition is to become a global leader in advanced PAN-based carbon fiber technology and high-quality product development.
