Saerbeck, 12.01.2026 - The S⁠A⁠E⁠R⁠T⁠E⁠X Group continues its global growth path and expands its production capacity in Asia, one of the key markets for composite materials. With the establishment of S⁠A⁠E⁠R⁠T⁠E⁠X SCF China Ltd. in August 2025, the company has laid the foundation for a new production site in Pinghu, near Shanghai. Production is scheduled to start in March 2026.


S⁠A⁠E⁠R⁠T⁠E⁠X SCF China Ltd. (Specialty Carbon Fabrics) specializes in the manufacture of technical carbon textiles for the wind energy, automotive and aerospace industries.

The new facility will be equipped with modern production technology for the manufacturing of carbon NCFs (N⁠o⁠n⁠-⁠C⁠r⁠i⁠m⁠p Fabrics) and will fulfill the highest quality standards. Customers will benefit from optimized supply chains, shorter lead times and improved availability of S⁠A⁠E⁠R⁠T⁠E⁠X products in the greater Shanghai area and across the Chinese market.
