Hengshen Powers Successful First Flight of China-Made HH-200 Unmanned Transport System

PUCHENG, April 15, 2026 – The HH-200 aviation commercial unmanned transport system, independently developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), successfully completed its maiden flight test in Pucheng, Shaanxi Province. Hengshen Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group (SCCIG), served as the exclusive supplier of composite materials for the entire airframe, providing support for the HH-200's lightweight fuselage and outstanding performance through its EM916 medium-temperature-curing epoxy prepreg. This achievement highlights Hengshen's robust capabilities in the field of aviation-grade carbon fiber.

The HH-200 unmanned transport aircraft has extremely stringent requirements for light weight, high strength, and weather resistance. To address the complex operational demands of unmanned aerial vehicles, Hengshen innovatively developed the EM916 medium-temperature-curing epoxy prepreg. Reinforced with the company's own high-performance carbon fiber, the material offers excellent mechanical strength, fatigue resistance, and formability. It enables integrated manufacturing of complex structural components for the fuselage, significantly enhancing the aircraft's structural strength, payload capacity, and range - making the "unmanned flying truck" lighter yet stronger, tougher yet more durable.

During the test flight, all systems of the unmanned aircraft operated normally, with stable flight attitude and good overall condition. The aircraft successfully completed all scheduled flight tasks, marking new progress for China in the field of large-scale commercial unmanned transport equipment.
