SHANGHAI, April 2026 - The Xunqi V1000A manned aircraft, for which HRC provided comprehensive support in full-airframe structural design and manufacturing, has successfully rolled off the final assembly line. This milestone marks a significant acceleration in the development of long-range, low-altitude intelligent mobility solutions in China.

As the core platform of Gaode Group’s low-altitude economy initiative, Wuhan Xunqi Technology is a pioneering Chinese enterprise in the R&D and production of tilt-wing hybrid eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. Its flagship V1000 model incorporates distributed tilt-rotor and extended-range hybrid propulsion technologies. It is not only the first large-scale tilt-rotor hybrid eVTOL in China to receive Type Certification (TC) acceptance from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), but also one of the country’s longest-range aircraft in its class, with a single-charge range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. The V1000A manned variant accommodates 4 to 6 passengers. As application scenarios such as intercity commuting and low-altitude tourism expand, the aircraft is poised to bring “air taxi” services into everyday life.

As a globally rare Tier 1 supplier of carbon fiber components and airframe design, manufacturing, and final assembly, HRC has been deeply involved in the entire value chain of the V1000A’s structural development-spanning design, production, and validation-and has been instrumental in ensuring the project’s successful execution.

From the initial design phase, HRC collaborated closely with Xunqi Technology, contributing not only to overall concept validation and aerodynamic profile iteration, but also to full-airframe structural design covering the fuselage, wings, empennage, booms, door sections, tilt mechanisms, and actuation systems. Concurrently, HRC performed a series of critical engineering tasks, including material selection, load path analysis, electrical bonding design, and sealing design.

HRC exclusively undertook the manufacturing and assembly of all carbon fiber components for the V1000A. Through rigorous process control and assembly coordination, HRC ensured high manufacturing precision and assembly integrity, thereby providing a solid foundation for the aircraft’s successful rollout and subsequent test campaigns.

Additionally, HRC was responsible for the design, planning, organization, and execution of both the 100% limit load full-airframe static test and the integral fuel tank test, delivering essential data to support the safe certification and delivery of the V1000A.

Looking ahead, Xunqi Technology plans to establish a “distributed” air travel network covering more than 90% of Chinese cities, ultimately creating an “air taxi” system comprising tens of thousands of eVTOL aircraft capable of 24/7 operation regardless of geographical or topographical constraints. Commercial operations are targeted within five years. Leveraging its comprehensive technical capabilities and mature production infrastructure, HRC will continue to empower the commercialization of low-altitude aircraft and grow in tandem with China’s low-altitude economy ecosystem.
