ZHENJIANG, June 3 - Jiangsu Hengshen Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Hangzhou Dazhaofeng Aviation Technology Co., Ltd., has successfully completed the rollout and delivery of the jointly developed "Kunyu 1000" ultra-short range drone.

The entire delivery process highlighted Hengshen’s integrated, full-chain manufacturing system, spanning independent carbon fiber R&D, high-end prepreg mass production, composite part forming, complete aircraft structural assembly, and integrated painting. This closed-loop system ensures 100% independent control over core materials, continuous self-driven iteration of core processes, and precise, lifecycle quality management of the complete aircraft.

Following the rollout and delivery ceremony, both parties held a special symposium and signed a Letter of Intent for Strategic Cooperation. During the meeting, discussions focused on each company’s core strengths, qualification frameworks, main businesses, and future strategic plans. Both sides agreed that the new materials sector and the low-altitude economy are entering a golden era of opportunity. Guided by the national new materials strategy, the two companies share a high degree of business alignment and strong complementary resource, presenting significant potential for synergistic development. Moving forward, they will leverage their complementary advantages to deepen their presence in the low-altitude industry.

The rollout of the Kunyu 1000 drone marks both a milestone in project progressing and a new starting point for the product’s commercial market entry. In the upcoming phase, the partners will jointly advance key tasks including test flights, airworthiness certification, and application implementation in scenarios such as low-altitude logistics, border surveillance, and island-to-island logistics, thereby supporting industrial upgrades across multiple sectors. Concurrently, they will deepen their long-term strategic cooperation by planning the R&D and mass production of large-tonnage series aircraft, continuously expanding the development landscape of the low-altitude economy.
