Nanjing Fiberglass Research & Design Institute was established in 1964. Being the only one synthetic institutions domestically, dedicating in glass fiber research, design and production, it has a number of over 600 technical staff from more than 20 fields, e.g. inorganic material, polymer, composite, mechanical engineering, electric, furnace, textile, environmental protection, etc. It runs on three major platforms—production of high performance material, engineering service and support of national defense and military industry, sparing no efforts to build a leading industry of “membrane material, aerospace material, environmental engineering and stone wool.
