China Composites Industry Association was established in August 1984, approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China and registered as an independent social organization with legal personality. At present, it has more than 700 member companies. The functions of CCIA are as follows: Acting as a bridge between government and business, and having analysis and brief on the economic performance of the industry, and guiding the healthy and orderly development of the industry and promoting internal exchanges and cooperation, and organizing the promotion and application of new products, technologies and equipments, and connecting upstream and downstream related industries to promote applications for composite products.
