We are focusing on the development of 3D braiding machines and the manufacture of preforms of 3D-braided composites. The 3D rotatory braiding machine, which adopted modularized technology, increases the manufacturing efficiency and has obvious advantage on automatic manufacture, cost, and stability of size and performances of preforms. Our 3D-full-5directional braiding technology can further strength the axial performances of the composites. 3D braiding machines of our company are two kinds: rectangular and circular type, and are suitable to braid rectangular and combined rectangular 3D performs and pipe preforms with different cross section shapes separately, all of them may be either equal or different in section and thickness.
