DEQING, China - On May 11, Hongde New Materials held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new energy vehicle (NEV) battery component project at its Deqing base. Management team members attended the ceremony, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the company in the new energy sector.

The project will focus on the R&D and manufacturing of core components for NEVs, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the new energy industry. Covering an area of 22.58 mu (approximately 1.5 hectares) with a total investment of approximately 160 million yuan, the project will establish a modern production facility with an annual capacity of one million sets of NEV battery components. This initiative represents a key strategic move by Hongde New Materials to deepen its presence in the new energy industry and optimize its industrial planning.
