Initiation of the new base is aimed at forging a complete industrial chain for Baowu’s carbon fiber business, and laying a solid foundation for further strengthening relative core competativenss.


Zhejiang Baowan was jointly established by Baowu Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. and Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. at the beginning of March 2022, responsible for the operation of precursor program, the investment for the first phase of which totals 1.63 billion RMB (tax excluded).

Statistics indicates Zhejiang Baowan is registered with 850 million RMB, all in cash, with Baowu Carbon contributing 434 million RMB, accounting for 51% shares, and Wanhua Chemical taking the rest 49%.
