This milestone marks the culmination of a collaborative effort between Baojing Composites and a leading aviation company, injecting a "strong boost" into China’s burgeoning low-altitude economy.

As a nationally supported emerging sector, the eVTOL-powered low-altitude economy represents a strategic frontier. The LX-1 drone is tasked with exploring new logistics routes and forging a new engine for China’s low-altitude economic growth. Facing world-class challenges—including large-wingspan structural design and cutting-edge composite material molding—Baojing Composites and its aviation partner formed a joint R&D team to tackle critical issues in material selection, structural optimization, and manufacturing processes.

Through dozens of iterative design reviews and months of on-site production trials, the team successfully mastered multiple core technologies, such as: Large-scale reinforced skin integrated molding, C-shaped beam rebound deformation control, Low-cost tooling and mold manufacturing.

This achievement has pioneered a new technical pathway for large-wingspan logistics drone production.

The delivery not only validates Baojing Composites’ aerospace-grade composite manufacturing capabilities but also resolves the LX-1’s most critical structural challenges, laying a solid foundation for final assembly and test flights. More importantly, it demonstrates the power of "innovative design + advanced manufacturing" synergy, providing valuable experience and confidence for future rapid iteration of next-gen models.

Moving forward, Baojing Composites will ramp up R&D investment in carbon fiber composites and deepen collaboration with its aviation partner in eVTOL lightweighting, drone logistics network development and "Material innovation + application scenario" closed-loop industrialization.

By equipping China’s low-altitude economy with "the wings of advanced materials", the partnership aims to co-create a grand blueprint for high-end manufacturing and accelerate the nation’s leadership in next-gen aviation.
