The new headquarter is located in the Hengqin International Financial Center, adjacent to the coastline and facing Macau across the sea, the opening of which being a milestone for Airbus helicopters to contribute to the general aviation industry in the Great Bay Area, and to the low altitude market in China.

At the ceremony, Airbus Helicopters signed a letter of intent for tripartite cooperation with Tianhe International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hengjian Holdings, and China Southern Airlines General Aviation Co., Ltd., aiming to further deepen industrial cooperation in respective of helicopters.

Lauding Airbus’s relocation of its regional headquarter, Zhang Shuofu, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, said, "Airbus Helicopters, as a leading global helicopter manufacturer, has won high recognition from users worldwide with its outstanding innovation capabilities, reliable product performance, and global service network. Today's opening ceremony marks a new stage of cooperation between Airbus Helicopters, Guangdong Province, and the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone.
