Recently, Airbus has delivered the first aircraft completed at its second A320 Family final assembly line (FAL) in Tianjin. The A320neo aircraft will enter service with China Eastern Airlines. This delivery ushers in a new phase of development for Airbus' industrial footprint across China and globally.

Since the Tianjin A320 Family FAL commenced operations in 2008, the site has assembled and delivered more than 800 A320 Family aircraft. The newly added second assembly line will substantially raise Airbus' production capacity to better serve customers in China and around the world.
Per Airbus' latest Global Market Forecast, China will need 8,830 new passenger aircraft over the next two decades, representing over 20% of the worldwide total demand of 42,060 aircraft for the same period. The second Tianjin FAL adds robust momentum to Airbus' global A320 production network, which now consists of ten final assembly lines: four in Hamburg, Germany; two in Toulouse, France; two in Mobile, the United States; and two in Tianjin, China.
