As of now, the comprehensive building for the first phase has been completed, and the main structure of the No. 1 carbonization workshop is already in place.


Jointly promoted by Guangdong Morden Hi-tech Fiber Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd., the project represents a total investment of 2.77 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 24,000 tons of PAN-based carbon fiber, with an estimated annual output value of 2.16 billion yuan. The carbon fiber produced will be widely applied in high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and wind turbine blades.

This initiative not only fills the gap in large-scale high-end carbon fiber production within Gansu but is also set to drive the clustering of upstream and downstream supporting enterprises. It will gradually establish a complete industrial chain spanning "precursor — carbon fiber — composite materials," injecting robust momentum into the high-quality development of the new materials industry in western China.
