(hereafter referred to as ATCC), said the company is now in negotiation with local government in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, to sign an investment agreement, targeting at establishing a eVOTL industrial cluster.


ATCC is a leading supplier for large aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft) companies, which has acquired COTESA GmbH (a German composite supplier to Airbus and Boeing) and EC (a composite structure supplier to western luxury vehicle OEMS) in May, 2018. The core business of ATCC is producing aerial-grade carbon fiber composite structural components to Airbus, Boeing, as well we COMAC, and also high-end industrial composite componens.

Cao Jing, GM of Low altitude Business Unit, ATCC, stated that currently, 80% of the company's business are from large aircraft sector, the remaining 20% from low altitude sector. Nevertheless, ATCC believes that the market value for large aircraft composite components might be hundreds of billions, but the market value for low altitude economy could be as large as trillions. In that case, ATCC will continue to invest on the latter field.

Since the inclusion into China’s government report in 2024, low altitude economy has been fast developing, majorly in Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Chengdu-Chongqing led Southwest Area. Among above mentioned places, the Greater Bay Area led the others in the cultivation of application scenarios, with Shenzhen and Guangzhou listed as the pilot city. Meanwhile, the area boasts its high economy vitality, and large amount of low altitude related companies.
