MUNICH / HANGZHOU – Coleitec, in partnership with German innovative raw materials manufacturer FibreCoat and automotive and aerospace turnkey solution provider Forward Engineering, has released a full-scale prototype of a new energy battery enclosure incorporating AluCoat-coated aluminum basalt fiber.

FibreCoat's proprietary AluCoat technology is applicable to a wide range of sectors, including new energy vehicles, aerospace, rail transportation, and high-end equipment. Leveraging the core advantages of AluCoat—such as electromagnetic shielding, fire resistance and flame retardancy, self-cooling properties, and a reduced carbon footprint—Coleitec collaborates with Forward Engineering to precisely identify key application scenarios based on industry-specific requirements. The partnership encompasses structural design, mid-stage HP-RTM process optimization and prototype development, and later-stage support for scalable production and technical services.
