On September 16, Hunan Toyi Carbon Material Technology Co., Ltd. (“Toyi Carbon”) held a commissioning ceremony for its resin matrix composite production line at the company’s Pingjiang manufacturing base in Yueyang. The event marks a key addition to Toyi Carbon’s integrated industrial chain strategy.

The commissioned resin matrix composite line establishes a robust platform to diversify end uses for pitch-based carbon fiber. Its core product lineup comprises prepregs, carbon fiber support struts, carbon fiber robotic arms, satellite frames, spacecraft structural panels, parabolic antennas, drone wings, drone fuel tanks and carbon fiber enclosures. Boasting low density, high thermal conductivity, high modulus and outstanding design tailorability, these products serve a wide range of high-growth sectors: intelligent manufacturing, low-altitude economy, commercial space, premium sports equipment and thermal management.

A demonstration line, developed in partnership with Guangzhou Xujing Technology Co., Ltd., initially targets the display panel industry. The parties are progressively expanding the scope into synergistic areas, including lightweight drone components and intelligent warehousing solutions.
