GW Precision Machinery Brings out Homegrown Dual-Gantry AFP System

November 23, Jinan – GW Precision Machinery, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GW Composites, outperforms other contestants in a competition held in Jinan, East China, which highlights intelligent manufacturing across new material industry and assembles 43 teams in aggregation.

The “Large-size AFP System with Improved Efficacy and Flexibility” program, submitted by GW Precision Machinery, is awarded the first prize with highest scores among 100 plus other candidates.

In the wake of of increasing demand for automatic processing of large-size aero composite structures, based on its expertize on machinery design and GW Composite’ leverage as being fully engaged in the entire carbon fiber industrial chain, GW Precision Machinery initiated the development of AFP system with improved efficacy and flexibility. It takes the lead in China to bring out homegrown dual-gantry AFP systems, allowing itself to be an integrated supplier of self-reliant materials, machines as well as processes, and consequently laying a solid foundation for low-production-cycle composite structures for aerospace and many other industries.
