NANTONG, China – A new production project for friction materials and carbon fiber composites, representing a total investment of RMB 500 million (approximately USD 69 million), has officially been signed and will be located in the Sutong Science & Technology Industrial Park. The agreement marks a significant expansion of the park’s industrial footprint in high-end manufacturing and advanced materials.

Nantong Lintex Advanced Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company Jiangsu Lintex Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 920106), is a longstanding “hidden champion” in the field of automatic transmission friction plates. The company’s independently developed products have successfully broken the long-standing monopoly of foreign enterprises in the passenger vehicle automatic transmission friction plate sector, making Lintex the only domestic brand achieving batch production and supply.

The new project, with a total investment of approximately RMB 500 million, will occupy a planned area of 76 mu (approximately 5.07 hectares). The project will expand existing friction material production capacity while establishing new R&D and production lines for carbon fiber composites, thereby extending the company’s reach into the high-performance composite materials sector.
