TONGXIANG, China - On May 13, Jushi Group Co., Ltd. (China Jushi) announced a project to construct a 50,000-ton-per-year electronic yarn and 320 million-meter-per-year electronic fabric production line at its Jiangsu Jushi Huaian Co., Ltd. subsidiary.

According to the announcement, the project aims to further strengthen the company’s competitiveness in the electronic-grade glass fiber market, accelerate product mix adjustments, enhance profitability, and implement the company’s “15th Five-Year Plan” strategic vision.
The project will be located at the New Materials Industrial Park in Lianshui County, Huaian City, Jiangsu Province. It plans to construct one electronic fabric production line with a designed annual capacity of 320 million meters and a construction period of 1.5 years. The total planned investment for the project is 4.431 billion yuan, with funding coming from the company’s self-raised capital and bank loans.
Jushi Group stated that upon full completion, the estimated total investment return rate for the project is 10.81% (pre-tax). The company noted that this figure is a preliminary estimate and does not constitute a commitment to project investment returns. The implementation of the project will facilitate the company’s structural adjustment, transformation, and upgrading, further optimize its industrial planning, enhance its green manufacturing capabilities and economic performance, and support sustainable, high-quality development.
