On September 23, the People's Government of Horinger County and Inner Mongolia Tianhao Fiberglass Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for a production base project targeting 200,000 tonnes of electronic-grade glass fiber and 160 million meters of electronic fabric per annum.

Covering a land area of 708 mu with total investment of RMB 5 billion, the project will be rolled out in two phases. Phase I will construct a 100,000-tonne electronic-grade fiberglass production line. Phase II will add capacity for 100,000 tonnes of electronic yarn and 160 million meters of electronic fabric. The facility will produce high-technology, high value-added electronic materials. Deploying advanced tank-furnace direct-melt technology and smart manufacturing principles, the project will advance the high-end and intelligent upgrade of regional manufacturing. Its products cater to key markets such as AI servers, 5G communications, new energy vehicles, and PCB copper-clad laminates (CCL).

Upon full operational capacity, the project is forecast to yield annual operating revenue of RMB 5.63 billion and roughly RMB 700 million in total tax contributions, creating over 2,200 direct jobs.
