Gangke Company, under Taigang Group, has completed a one-off successful engineering pilot production of T1100S ultra-high-strength carbon fiber using its existing 500-tonne annual carbon fiber production line during scheduled production gaps. The finished product delivers a stable tensile strength of over 7.0 GPa and excels in all core performance parameters.
The breakthrough fully demonstrates the robust flexibility of Gangke's production line, as well as the stability and technological sophistication of its domestically developed manufacturing processes. It marks the official engineering implementation of T1100S carbon fiber production. Boasting an ultra-high tensile strength exceeding 7.0 GPa, the product achieves leading domestic and advanced international performance standards, filling a critical gap in the company's ultra-high-strength carbon fiber product portfolio.

High-performance carbon fiber is a strategically vital material for aerospace engineering and high-end advanced manufacturing. As a top-tier high-modulus and ultra-high-strength carbon fiber variant, the T1100S grade features formidable technical barriers and rigorous process precision requirements, representing a long-standing core research priority for China's advanced new materials industry.
A key domestic player advancing carbon fiber localization, Gangke has consistently prioritized forward-looking technological R&D and iterative upgrading. Building on its mature, stable mass production of T300, T700, T800 and T1000-grade carbon fiber products, the company has continued to target high-end product innovation and performance breakthroughs.
To conquer the core manufacturing technologies for T1100S carbon fiber, Gangke launched a dedicated R&D task force as part of its long-term strategic layout. The team optimized the entire production workflow, covering precursor polymerization, dry-jet wet spinning, pre-oxidation and high-temperature carbonization. Through systematic trial verification, repeated parameter iteration, equipment condition optimization and refined process management, the technical team resolved pervasive industry challenges including uneven precursor microstructures, carbonization defect risks and inconsistent performance stability. The accumulated high-precision technical data and mature process expertise laid a solid foundation for the successful pilot production.
Throughout the trial phase, Gangke strategically coordinated mass production and R&D schedules. The company leveraged operational downtime between regular supply orders to conduct high-end product trials, maximizing the utilization efficiency of its existing production facilities. The first-batch pilot production achieved full success, completing comprehensive engineering validation of T1100S carbon fiber on a commercial-scale mass production line.
Moving forward, Gangke will continue to advance carbon fiber technological innovation and process optimization. The company will accelerate process standardization and stable large-scale production of T1100S carbon fiber, expand its application in high-end industrial scenarios, drive corporate high-quality development through continuous technological iteration, and bolster China's independent controllability of core strategic new materials.
