Recently, CCTV News reported that the TP200 multi-functional long-endurance UAV, independently developed by Yitong UAV, has successfully completed its maiden flight with stable flight attitude.

As China's first long-endurance industrial UAV developed in accordance with airworthiness standards, its core composite load-bearing components including wings, empennages and control surfaces were developed and manufactured with participation from the Harbin FRP Institute. Boasting outstanding structural performance and prominent lightweight advantages, the components feature excellent fatigue and vibration resistance. All technical specifications meet design requirements. The aircraft can operate in complex field environments and support diverse mission scenarios such as national land surveying, maritime inspection, and earthquake disaster relief. It effectively improves UAV endurance and payload capacity while cutting manufacturing, operation and maintenance costs for medium-to-large UAVs.
Aligned with the deployment under the 15th Five-Year Plan to foster strategic industrial clusters for the low-altitude economy, the Harbin FRP Institute has achieved the transition from small-batch custom prototyping to mass production through mature production workflows and a closed-loop quality management system. The institute is capable of batch delivery of composite structural parts for medium and large UAVs, continuously supplying core composite components for multiple UAVs and low-altitude aircraft. Adhering to aerospace-grade manufacturing standards, it has established an industry benchmark for composite supporting parts of low-altitude vehicles.
