(CPIC) initiated the construction work of its 150,000 metric tons glass fiber production facility featured with intelligent manufacturing at its subsidiary located in Changzhou District.

The subsidiary entered into formal operation in 2006, with an overall investment amounting to 6 billion RMB.


During the 14th Five-Year Period, as CPIC announced, the company will reinforce glass fiber business as its mainstay, speed up the extension to GFRP final products, and complement its portfolio to cover the industrial chain incorporating glass fiber, resin, composites and final products.

Liu Hexing, vice general manager of Yuntianhua Group, the major stakeholder of CPIC, said the new program will drastically optimize the group’s business structure, address market requirements in a better way and consolidate the company core competitiveness.

Geng Bo, secretary of CPIC party committee said the new production facility will further enhance the intelligent manufacturing level of the company, secure the high-end market and strengthen the company’s status in advantageous markets including wind, electricity, thermoplastics, etc.
