The project will further extend and reinforce Taicang's chemical and advanced materials industry chain while injecting new momentum into the transformation and quality enhancement of the port’s chemical industrial park.

The facility will occupy approximately 52.6 mu (about 3.5 hectares) and will focus on the research, development, and manufacturing of functional polyester adhesives, high-performance specialty polyester polyols, and eco-friendly single-component solvent-free polyurethane adhesives. Upon reaching full production capacity, it is expected to contribute over RMB 10 billion in additional annual output value.

Founded in 2007, Xuchuan Chemical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. operates multiple production sites across China and specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of polyurethane resins as a high-tech chemical materials enterprise. The company maintains two provincial-level polyurethane resin R&D centers, with products applied across more than ten fields including electronics, home appliances, automotive, marine, and rail transportation.
